LES MARRONNIERS

Named after the two mature chestnut trees in the south facing terrace, Les Marronniers is the largest of the four gites at Le Petit Roc. Large sliding doors open out to the garden area furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor eating and relaxing. The whole of this private terrace/garden area is shaded by the two chestnut trees, behind which are the pool and gardens. But it is the west terrace which greets new guests, and which is perfect for cool breakfasts and sunset drinks. However, if you’re feeling lazy you might not get beyond the balcony above which provides views over the woods and fields nearby.

Marronniers lounge

The oak staircase takes you up to a landing area equipped with a TV and DVD player, ideal as a children’s lounge. French windows open out onto the balcony, as does the adjacent bedroom. Along the hallway are two large bedrooms, both with ensuite shower and WC. One has a king-sized double bed plus a single bed whilst the blue bedroom can sleep four more comfortably.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. The lounge has a large TV, a DVD player and a music system for CDs and is MP3 compatible. Throughout the gite there is wireless, broadband internet connection.

The open plan lounge / dining area allows larger groups to socialise and to eat on a rare wet evening, plus take advantage of the home movie system after the sun has gone down. Off the main lounge there is a downstairs double bedroom with a king-sized bed, vanity sink unit and a walk in wardrobe. Next door is the fully equipped kitchen and entrance hall which leads onto the west terrace. Across the hall from the kitchen is the downstairs bathroom and shower with adjoining WC and bidet.
